First annual Bogey Bhais trip to Torrey Pines: injured but inspired.
We came for the golf, but Torrey hits different... the cliffs, the wind, the history. You can feel the legacy walking up the finishing stretch, staring down the famous 18th, where the greats have closed it out and where the pros battle every year at the Farmers Insurance Open.
Then the day softened: a La Jolla sunset, ocean glowing, and dolphins in the distance like a highlight reel we didn’t pay for.
Scores were questionable. The vibe was perfect.
